Savannah Dysard (Business Director) is a Senior majoring in international affairs with a concentration of international development and minor of global public health. Singing and music have been a huge part of her life since she was about eight years old and continues to make her smile every day 🙂 She enjoys Ingrid Michaelson, Milky Chance, The Lumineers, and Foster the People along with a never ending list of other alternative artists. Traveling will forever hold a place in her heart as she works for the U.S. Peace Corps and RESULTS Poverty Nonprofit. She dreams to be as incredible as Temperance Bones while simultaneously planning her life as Mrs. Darcy. She is so proud to call Pitches her true GW family.
Reaiah Moses is a Junior from Framingham, MA, double majoring in International Affairs and Economics. When she is not spending time with her badass pitches, you can find her eating copious amounts of grilled cheese sandwiches, binge-watching Friends (again), and attempting to cope with her love of all things elephant-related. Reaiah also enjoys being a GW TRAiLS guide and a member of Sigma Kappa sorority. She is so thankful to be a member of the Pitches family and can’t wait continue making memories with the group!
Hannah Friedman (Co-Music Director) is a junior who is one of those rare New Jersey kids at GW. She is studying political science and women’s studies. She loves chocolate pudding and is very much so preoccupied with 1985. Hannah will never miss an opportunity to play dress up, talk about gender equality, or sing with the GW Pitches
Talia Clements (Treasurer) is a sophomore majoring in International Affairs. She hopes to be a double major in International Affairs and English. Talia lives in Saratoga, CA, and no matter how much time she spends on the east coast she will never understand how the weather can be hot but also rainy. When she’s not singing constantly, she can be found eating a lot of chocolate, jamming out to Taylor Swift music, watching Disney movies, playing lacrosse, winning peoples’ love with her great wit, or just spending time with friends. If you’re every looking for a present to give her she appreciates chocolate and also dogs (though she already has three). She’s so excited to sing with the Pitches this year and every year!!
Lily Clayton is a Junior hailing from Providence, RI and is double majoring in Biology and Psychology. You can often find her pulling and all-nighter in the depths of SEH while double-fisting Pumpkin Spice Lattes. She enjoys beat-boxing, playing the guitar, and dating boys in other a cappella groups on campus. Lily is also a member of the Iota Chapter of Delta Epsilon Mu, GW’s only pre-medical coed fraternity. She is thrilled to call the Pitches her family and have found people who are as passionate about music as she is.
Romy Stancofski is a Senior from Lewes, Delaware majoring in psychology. She loves singing and dancing and everything in between and is so excited to be a part of the Pitches. When she’s not re-watching Friends for the 14th time, you can find her singing the Parks and Rec theme song in the shower, thinking about her dog Sully, comparing brands of chocolate ice cream, or laugh-snorting.
Sophia Frontale is a freshman from Syracuse, New York currently studying in the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences. She is unsure of what she would like to do in the future, but pretty much everything is on her list. Sophia loves animals, musicals, the outdoors, Hamilton, learning new things, and is a major foodie. If she is not stressing about school, she is probably watching a crime show. Sophia is so thankful to be part of the A Cappella Community and she cannot wait to be a part of the GW Pitches through her time at GW.
Brianna Massey is a sophomore in the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences. She hails from Grand Rapids, Michigan and is a firm believer that it’s “pop” not “soda.” When Brianna isn’t singing you can find her saying “hi” to everyone she sees, obsessing over dogs or dancing to trap music.
Priya Desai (Public Relations – Spring) is a Junior studying political science and journalism that you can usually see dropping something in the middle of the street. She’s from Dallas, TX and is always craving chips and queso. Her hobbies include singing in a semi circle with other humans, petting random strangers’ dogs, eating chocolate, being outdoorsy, being a political junkie and collecting trinkets from around the world. The number one thing on her bucket list is to pet a bear one day.
Paige Davis (Public Relations Director – Fall) is a Senior from Malvern, PA. She is the proud mother of 5 beautiful chickens, and named all of them after some of her favorite songs. She is involved with Forbidden Planet Productions at GW, as well as Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She calls the GW Pitches her family away from family, and her personal motto is “float like a jellyfish, sting like a jellyfish”. Her favorite Pitches memory is winning GW Battle of The A Cappellas 2017.
Thank you to the incredible Michaela-Lindsey Myerson for taking headshots for us!
